I like pineapple, but it shouldn't be on pizza.

Pineapple is fine on a pizza. There's far worse things people have put on one than that.

Love pineapple, love pizza, hate pizza + pineapple.

Instead I always get my pizza with pepperoni and tomatoes (that is, diced tomatoes over the top of it).

Not my personal favorite but sure, have the occasional Hawaiian pizza, it's not too shabby.

Chips as in the Brit word for Fries? Or potato chips like crisps?
Gravy on fries is delicious, Cheese curd on fries, then melted by covering with gravy is manna from heaven :D

Oh and Pineapple on pizza is good, expecially when juxtaposed against something spicy

Nothing wrong with pineapple on a pizza. Anchovies, however. URK.

While I don't mind some salty tasting foods, anchovies are just ridiculously strong tasting, and definitely too powerful for a pizza.
