So based on this thread/post http://www.neowin.ne...t__p__595041451 Inspired by sanctified.

I got "bitten" by the rucksack bug, specially those with such a sleek design as the GR 1. My only issue with it is it's price which is near $300. So low and behold my search began to find something along those lines.

So far my list is:

Goruck GR1

Killspencer special ops --- very nice, but too expensive -

Pacsafe Luggage Venturesafe 32l Travel Backpack

Mountain Hardwear Paladin Daypack

Pacsafe Luggage Ultimatesafe 32l Backpack

Victorinox Altmont 2.0 Slimline Laptop Backpack Padded Computer Pack - Black --- kinda meh... But it looks alright.

Arc'teryx Blade 30 Backpack

Thule Crossover 30 Liter Backpack

Tasmanian Tiger Mission Pack - reviews are scarce, but apparently very badly built.

edit adding:

Three Day Elite - Black by Sandpiper of california

BlackHack ultra light 3

And googling the hell i've manage to make the list bigger, instead of narrowing down my choices!

So as usual with all my threads, There are probably a lot of people here on neowin who use miliatry grade backpacks, so chip in the knowledge!

Goruck might be pricey but it worths the moment you realize it's a backpack that can last your entire life.

You cant go wrong with Victorinox either, also I've heard great things about the Arc'teryx.

I know I know, I'm almost made up on the GR1, but just as you pointed out the GR1, who knows there might be something "else" out there :p

Before purchasing anything, what are you going to be using this pack for?

If it's for general everyday cargo, then any decently priced pack will do

Now if you are going to be hiking, camping or anything like that, the first thing you need to do is find the ones with ergonomic backs to include a kidney belt and torso strap, nothing will kill the experience than a pack that doesn't fit or that is not comfortable

Not to say you can't spend more for an everyday pack, but if you have a budget these would be how I would start

I really want this one:

This is the one I have w/ patrol pack:

http://www.campingsu...-90-field-pack/

The CPF-90 is nice as it's about 120-150 USD and it's really durable.

Way to big! And not really looking into the Cameo - multicam look, but you never know I guess :p

I take you didn't like the bluelounge packs I showed you days ago? Those are very classy looking but built like tanks... and not expensive.

I actually like those A lot( seeing as i'm a tree hugger, eg environmental engineer), the only thing I disliked was http://www.bluelounge.com/products/bags/backpack/ Was that the fact that it doesn't completely close, eg if the clasp comes loose something might fall out with noticing.

I hear ya. I use mine for hiking/BOB, so I need the room. Were you looking for MOLLE for your pack?

http://www.eberlesto...0Jackhammer.htm

Not necessarily, But ATM it's what i've found, hence why i'm asking around, so if you got any suggestions, shoot.

Daily use bags (non- military) aren't too expensive. The catch is, the military-grade bags are bigger, heaver and built to last. I would bet money that I could throw my CFP-90 fully loaded down the side of a mountain and it would be fine.

I'd recommend using one bag for camping/hiking and another for daily use.

Cheaperthandirt has a lot of options.

    • Limited Prime Day deal sees Amazon Echo Show 11 is at its lowest price yet by Ivan Jenic The Amazon Echo Show 11 is currently $149.99 on Amazon during Prime Day, down from $219.99. That's 32% off and $70 saved on Amazon's newest mid-size smart display (purchase link below). As its name suggests, the Echo Show 11 features a 11” Full-HD touchscreen, which is a decent upgrade over the Echo Show 8. It offers 60% more viewing area, which makes a genuine difference for recipes, calendars, video calls, or any other scenario where the smaller display can feel a bit cramped. The Show 11 is built around Alexa+, Amazon's more capable AI assistant that can handle natural conversation. You can make reservations, order groceries, and find content based on your preferences, instead of always having to give it precise commands. There’s also the Omnisense technology, which adds ambient awareness, allowing the device to trigger routines based on temperature, presence detection, or visual cues. Smart home control is built in without needing a separate hub, and the home screen doubles as a photo slideshow when not in use. Taking all of this into account, the Show 11 is a perfect smart addition to your kitchen counter or living room. At $149.99, this is a strong Prime Day buy for anyone already in the Amazon ecosystem or looking to build one out.
