What the hell, they dropped Massacre from the name?

Anyway, the 2003 remake was actually really okay and the best part about it --  IT HAD AN ACTUAL END. PUT THE PEDAL TO THE METAL, BABY!  It did spawn the ****ty prequel, though...

Wikipedia says this is a sequel to the 1974 movie, so yeah.. They're just using the name to push a slasher story out there.

They probably didn't want people to say: Oh my God! A remake of Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III!!! That's just awful!
