Madrid vs. City game was indeed a cracker! Always felt that Real were going to have the edge somehow tonight.

Arsenal deserved the win.

The referee was bad, very bad.

The #20 for Montpelier was fouled a couple of times and referee just 4-5 metres away could not see it.

Referee didn't book him for the dive in the area. His foot was touched, however, the amateur dramatics gave him zero chance of a spot kick.

Arsenal conceded a dubious penalty and a two footed lunge by a Montpelier player on an Arsenal player in the second half went

unpunished.

U.E.F.A. need to watch the game and deal with the referee's bad performance.

Not a good couple of nights for British teams, except for Man Utd!

So the last 16 were announced over a week ago:

Galatasaray v Schalke
Celtic v Juventus
Arsenal v Bayern
Shakhtar Donetsk v Borussia Dortmund
Milan v Barcelona
Real Madrid v Man. United
Valencia v Paris Saint-Germain
Porto v Malaga

As a United fan, I think our two legs are the the tie of the round, can't wait!

What a game Real v United. It was great until the howler by the Referee which pretty much ruined the tie. Real pressed hard and deserved a goal but the sending off tipped the balance.
