Have you any idea how hard bipedal motion is?

Its not just putting one foot in front of the other.

I understand how complicated and advanced this is, and I'm always impressed (and intimidated) at the progress that is being made, but I was just making an observation.

Not in it's current form no, but eventually once the tech reaches a good enough level these things could be used for reconnaissance or even as an attack drone, the military already uses unmanned drones in the sky, why not on the ground.

The video stated it used to go on patrol, not to go out and seek the enemy.
