I have an iOS device connected into a dock to play some music (online radio stations, Spotify etc)

My question is if ti's possible to connect with another iOS device (iPhone, iPad) to this device in the dock and control/take over this device, so I can change music stations, adjust volume level and/or change songs?

I don't like to jailbreak, so only App Store apps or "standard" iOS 'tricks'.

Can this be done?

No. Especially without jailbreaking.

Now, could something be possible with the Lightning connector? I suppose. But nothing yet.

This can be done with SmartLink by Gear4, although it is designed for their docks. should work for you though.

I have no idea if this would work, but install VNC or iTeleport on both iOS devices and try to connect one to the other. I know iTeleport isn't free, so it might be an expensive experiment.

Edit:
Try
PodLink: http://itunes.apple....d347075206?mt=8
OR
Tunes Remote: http://itunes.apple....d343786445?mt=8

Podlink looks to be free.

PodLink and Tunes Remote only work with the media/music on the device. Not streaming online radio though....
