I have to wonder though, now that it is renewed that it won't slow down in its pace.

And that is always the scary thing with a serialized drama like this. So many shows as an example: The Walking Dead, Lost, Fringe, Alias, Revolution, Alcatraz, etc. They all went SO slow which really kills a show and ultimately my interest.

One show that I believe does it right is Justified. They recalibrate every season with a new story that keeps the show interesting and keeps the pace up for the entire season. Damages also did this, as well as Dexter. Those shows, by reinventing themselves every season, help to keep the pace up.

Totally agree with the show's mentioned there, I LOVED Season 1 of Walking Dead and Season 2 was good but Season 3 I have barely watched and don't care for the show now

The Walking Dead picked up, Breaking Bad has only getting better and better, The Sopranos, The Wire. A good drama can play with its pace and become a great whole.

Oh, I'm not saying it isn't possible, it just isn't easy. Breaking Bad is absolutely awesome, but they sort of do renew themselves every season with a new big bad. They've changed the setting several times and that helps refresh the storyline.

I would, respectively, disagree with Walking Dead. I've watched every episode and for me, it is still total rubbish. But, to each their own. I certainly don't mean to demean a show you enjoy, I just feel the pace is off and there's way to much drama.

As for The Following, I feel the pace has never been great since the first episode. I absolutely hate the flashbacks, they're way to overused and most of them don't add anything to the storyline that I couldn't already deduce.

How to preform CPR.

Do it for 10 seconds and then check to see if she's breathing, if not breathing, stop CPR and say "Yep, she's dead".

Pretty much. The show really went down hill very quickly.

Tracking her cell phone is based on cell towers, if not aGPS, yet the FBI was stumped by a proxy? The entire show became so implausible that it took the fun out of the show.

    • Limited Prime Day deal sees Amazon Echo Show 11 is at its lowest price yet by Ivan Jenic The Amazon Echo Show 11 is currently $149.99 on Amazon during Prime Day, down from $219.99. That's 32% off and $70 saved on Amazon's newest mid-size smart display (purchase link below). As its name suggests, the Echo Show 11 features a 11” Full-HD touchscreen, which is a decent upgrade over the Echo Show 8. It offers 60% more viewing area, which makes a genuine difference for recipes, calendars, video calls, or any other scenario where the smaller display can feel a bit cramped. The Show 11 is built around Alexa+, Amazon's more capable AI assistant that can handle natural conversation. You can make reservations, order groceries, and find content based on your preferences, instead of always having to give it precise commands. There’s also the Omnisense technology, which adds ambient awareness, allowing the device to trigger routines based on temperature, presence detection, or visual cues. Smart home control is built in without needing a separate hub, and the home screen doubles as a photo slideshow when not in use. Taking all of this into account, the Show 11 is a perfect smart addition to your kitchen counter or living room. At $149.99, this is a strong Prime Day buy for anyone already in the Amazon ecosystem or looking to build one out. • Dang that sucks. I just started using this feature instead of Pushbullet.
    • I use my devices until the very end. I used my old desktop computer for 16 years, my OnePlus 5T phone for 8 years and my LG Gram laptop for 7 years. Even though they are still working, there are no more security updates for most of them (Windows 7 ESU, Android 12 ROM and the LG Gram because I wanted an ARM based laptop).
