I guess they did put up patch notes and nobody actually noticed.

Patch notes - PC Patch 1 (Nov 5th 2012):

  • Microsoft XBOX 360 and Logitech RumblePad2 controller no longer start vibrating after finishing a Speedlist, even when having the vibration mode off
  • Certain button bindings are no longer being forgotten after restarting the game
  • The game is now syncing properly again after Origin was switched between Online and Offline mode a few times
  • The HUD no longer disappears when editing license plates under some circumstances
  • Everyone who pre-ordered Need for Speed Most Wanted should now have access to the bonus content in-game
  • The game no longer hangs on the loading screen whilst accepting an invite under some circumstances
  • The game should now uninstall properly without leaving certain .dll files behind

just for the hell of it here's the link

Ha ha, you don't control that car, I just pointed and hoped it wouldn't get airborne. I kept asking myself if they forgot to put brakes and gravity on that car, the only tip I can give is not to run wide open and if there is a hill let off the gas as you reach the top.

The only vehicle I haven't finished all the races for is the Ford truck (SVT?), but I'm only at the Boss Mustang (going in alphabetical order) still plenty of cars left. I took down the "most wanted" with the 'Vette pretty easily, the only problem was with the #1 driver got away due to an SUV taking me out right after the "take down" part started. I had to keep chasing him and he'd just disappear off the radar, so I'd drive around and he would show up every so often fly by and I'd keep chasing, after about 20 minutes he flew by and totaled himself and as I was closing full speed he was transported behind me and he drove off. I was not happy, since I totaled myself hitting the wall he hit, but somehow I got him and finished the "list".

All in all this game has some very crappy parts and some even crappier parts, why can't I set the damn thing to skip all the race intros automatically? How does an SUV only hit me hard enough to scratch the paint but still total me? Still, I push on, I have no money to buy another game, so eventually I pick it up and keep going on my way to 100%!

so they copied some code from burnout for this one cause while scouting race routes i would often get wrecked by the lightest taps also i think ill pick this one up when it becomes cheaper.

Just to add to this weird spotting, it wasn't just you or me that thought it looked too similar to City Hall: http://www.thestar.c...-for-speed-game http://www.reddit.com/r/toronto/comments/12v1p2/toronto_city_hall_in_need_for_speed_most_wanted/

Pretty neat. :)

Fantastic! I am surprised that The Star would have such an article! Still very nice, and its probably the first time Toronto is featured in a game.

Also they gave us no credits for spotting that! :(

Bought it, hated it, going to trade it in, thought Hot Pursuit was better. (Partly as I could never stay online for more than 5 or 10 minutes at a time, something that still doesn't happen in HP)

On a positive note tho, Loved the Marussia B2, played almost the whole game that allowed that car IN that car :)

(I don't know about anyone else as I can only speak for myself, but it felt a little too Burnout with licensed cars for me, more so that Hot Pursuit did)

My longest police chase so far has been 49 minutes with a Nissan GT-R Egoist. Boy, was that fun with the Level 6 SWAT trucks! :ninja: :p

Impressive! I almost got caught at least 5 times, blocked police or traffic or walls. That would have been annoying. Still running from cops is more fun than racing.

marussia is nice. I prefer either audi r8 / lamborghini aventador/gallardo or koenigsegg most :)

And yes it does feel a lot like burnout.

Can't remember how many times I nearly got caught, it was a nice adrenaline rush to get my wanted level down by hiding in various places before being spotted again. My favourite seems to be slamming the police into walls if I get pinned down and then J-turning out of there

I admit to being confused as to the multiplayer.

After a while it fails to give you a new objective or return to freeburning and I don't get what's supposed to be happening there.

I assume it's a bug, but wha...

You're not the only one, the multiplayer needs some bugs ironed out. Also a bit silly that you can't just have a plain ole' race with someone, like Hot Pursuit allowed but instead you have to race to a location to start and then it turns out that your car is facing in the wrong direction because the other player got there before you.

Thinking of buying this game for Chirstmas for my newer AMD Apu based system, A6-3620, Radeon 6530D, 8gbs of ddr 3 ram, Would the game run well on this system? Will be first newer game i'll get I think for this system, Resolution right now on current monitor til I get new one is 1280x720, gonna get new monitor with resolution of higher in the future..1600x900 most likely

Guess Will have to wait til I upgrade Ram on this PC to 16gb, then get a Video card I can cross fire with this APU, and Possibly upgrade Power supply at same time, Unless I can find a second video card that will crossfire with this APU A6-3620 Radeon 6530D chip without changing Power supply...guess will research that in the coming months

I'm confused, there is NO way you need to hold off until you had 16GB of RAM and 2x GFX cards to run this...

What? :s

You can't CrossFireX an APU (as far as I'm aware) as it's basically an integrated GPU. Also, 4 GB will be fine, 8 GB will be excellent. 16 GB is totally overkill.

Has supposedly Hybrid Crossfire, which will allow Discrete Card and APu to work together from what I understand, and highest can go with this chip would be HD6570 to work with that, Game said it needs 1024mb of video ram to work, is reason why I was gonna wait on getting it. But maybe I read it wrong and don't have to, or goto thru the trouble of setting up for Hybrid CrossFire or Also known as AMD Dual Graphics

CPU info here, and shows which cards can Crossfire with on this page

http://www.electroby...roducts_id=1432

I guess I may buy the Game anyways at Christmas and if I need to get a Discrete card to go with my APU after that, then I guess I will at that time. Only had this APU based system since June so still learning what can be done with it, and all that. First Ever Quad Core PC, with Radeon Graphics

I wasn't going to get this game after reading so many bad reviews on here, but a demo for Xbox came out lately so I gave it a try.

I found the graphics to be absolutely phenomenal, and definitely no frame rate problems on an Xbox.

I'm definitely buying it now!!

yeah my bro has a laptop with dual graphics :)

All games will run fine with 8GB btw. Even my 6 is overkill 99% of the time...with the pagefile off the only time I had problems was when I was saving one game while opening another, oops. I turned it back on just in case that happens again.

I know I'm a bit late to the party, but is anyone else disappointed with the complete lack of storyline in this edition of Most Wanted? I thought the story in the original version of Most Wanted was brilliant, but this version has nothing. It seems that all you do is aimlessly drive around a repetitve city racing in the same repetitive races with terrible handling and AI that is 100s of times better than you. Just feels like the "Most Wanted" list was added in as an after thought. They might as well have just called it a leaderboard! The NFS series has been rather disappointing since the orginial Most Wanted, albeit the new Hot Pursuit was fun, but this one just doesn't do it for me. Just my ?0.02p (or $0.02c) :p

As much as trailers told us before, that's their new best idea of in-game freedom :D

Though I'm kind of ok with that this time. Note that I'm usually not ok even with slightest cuts. However, old Most Wanted was the first and the last one being ok, with Sergeant Cross keying the car and all, everything after that story-wise was a let down, Undercover being total shyte and The Run having a great potential that was wasted. So, if they suck at it, why not just concentrate on the driving? :D

    • Ocenaudio 3.19.5 by Razvan Serea Ocenaudio is a full featured, fast and easy to use audio and music editor. It is the ideal software for people who need to edit and analyze audio files without complications. Ocenaudio also has powerful features that will please more advanced users. To assist ocenaudio development, a powerful toolset of audio editing, analysis and manipulation called Ocen Framework was created. ocenaudio is also based on Qt framework, a well known library for cross-platform development. Cross-platform support ocenaudio is available for all major operating systems: Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. Native applications are generated for each platform from a common source, in order to achieve excelent performance and seamless integration with the operating system. All versions of ocenaudio have a uniform set of features and the same graphical interface, so the skills you learn in one platform can be used in the others. VST plugins support Ocenaudio supports VST (Virtual Studio Technology) plugins, giving its users access to numerous effects. Like the native effects, VST effects can use real-time preview to aide configuration. Real-time preview of effects Applying effects such as EQ, gain and filtering is an important part of audio editing. However, it is very tricky to get the desired result by adjusting the controls configuration alone: you must listen the processed audio. To ease the configuration of audio effects, ocenaudio has a real time preview feature: you hear the processed signal while adjusting the controls. The effect configuration window also includes a miniature view of the selected audio signal. You can navigate on this miniature view in the same way as you do on the main interface, selecting parts that interest you and listening to the effect result in real time. Multiselection for delicate editions To speed up complex audio files editing, ocenaudio includes multi-selection. With this amazing tool, you can simultaneously select different portions of an audio file and listen, edit or even apply an effect to them. For example, if you want to normalize only the excerpts of an interview where the interviewee is talking, just select them and apply the effect. Eficient edition of large files With ocenaudio, there is no limit to the length or the quantity of the audio files you can edit. Using an advanced memory management system, the application keeps your files open without wasting any of your computer's memory. Even in files several hours long, common editing operations such as copy, cut or paste happen almost instantly. Fully featured spectrogram Besides offering an incredible waveform view of your audio files, ocenaudio has a powerful and complete spectrogram view. In this view, you can analyze the spectral content of your audio signal with maximum clarity. Advanced users will be surprised to find that the spectrogram settings are applied in real time. The display is updated immediately when altering features such as the number of frequency bands, window type and size and dynamic range of the display. Ocenaudio 3.19.5 changelog: Fixes crashes related to audio devices on Windows (DirectSound and ASIO) Fixes several crashes and memory corruption issues Fixes opening several headerless files at once, which previously dropped all but one Improves batch export by suggesting and remembering the destination folder Fixes accented and non-Latin characters in VST plug-in and compressed-archive file names Adds zstd compression support and updates the archive library Other bug fixes and improvements Download: Ocenaudio 64-bit | Portable | ~40.0 MB (Freeware) Download: Ocenaudio for Linux and Mac OS View: Ocenaudio Homepage | Screenshot Get alerted to all of our Software updates on Twitter at @NeowinSoftware
    • I did think about a Echo show once and it would be useful to see what my cameras see. But my brother got one and I changed my mind. Adverts and not really worth the price just to see my cameras. I have a load of dots and a Echo Gen 4, they will do.
    • I asking where you are from or live, because if you don't live in the U.K, why are you so bothered? That is another reason I voted out, E.U and people poking their noses in where they should not be. Sadly we still have it, Trump, and his cronies. Putin as well and no doubt others. It makes no difference what we believe, if we made the right choice or not, we are out. As I said to someone when the news first broke we have voted out, we just need to make the best of it. I have no problems with closer ties to the E.U, we still need to trade. Just don't want to be in their club.
    • So you think I voted out because i am anti-immigrant. I am fed up with those that come over and think that we owe them something. The ones that are at the moment coming over from France where they are already in a safe country because they think and no doubt will get everything chucked at them. While people who were born and bred here get very little. I have nothing against as i have said before those that come here and work. In fact I know full well that our NHS would struggle without them. I do have a problem with those that come over here and try to push their religion and their way of life onto us. My reasons for voting out was because of what the E.U is and is also becoming. I did not agree with Freedom of movement, not because I don't want people over here, but because people need to be checked before being allowed to cross borders and that goes both ways. But my main thing was because the E.U is becoming if not already a united states of Europe. The only reason countries like Poland and Romania joined was because they had no money. When my partner left Poland, she had nothing, Poland had nothing, that is why she left. Wanted to learn something and earn a living. The E.U would have us back according to Michel Barnier. https://www.euronews.com/my-eu...ator-barnier-tells-euronews Why are you so scared to say what country you are in?
    • I wonder what that line really meant...
