wanna check those stats again? IE is still right up there with firefox and chrome

she thinks that because she doesn't use it, that most people must not use it.

I use both IE10 and FF17 on Windows 7 ...

I'm loving IE10, moved up from IE9.

In comparison IE8 is a slow, slow, slow pile of outdated junk that should be banned from the internet.

Yes you all correct. This says a Pre-Release version. So it may not be the Final !!!!!!

I wouldn't expect much to change in the Final release.

I'm testing it at work. The performance is fine, no complaints there. But what's with using Win8 scrollbars in the Win7 version? That's just lazy, MS.

not just the Win8 scrollbars, but the win8 check boxes, textboxes, list boxes, comboboxes, radio buttons...... ugh

The OP doesn't know much about computers or the software that runs on them. Don't give them anymore of your time. I'm not sure why I am even replying.

I do know that we rolled out IE9 to around 2000 computers at my work and the users were very ELATED to receive the upgrade.
The browser isn't crashing on them like before, stalling on loading up, is more compatible with websites and because I am in IT - we would like to have these computers run more secure. (We give our users administrative access).

Looking forward to IE 10 final.

The site was actually taken back down after that initial few days, too.

They've always done that with IE... IE8 on Windows XP looks out of place too (even though it's less obvious). For some reason they hardcode everything instead of letting the OS itself handle it.
