I have a Galaxy Nexus (Verizon) and Nexus 7 both running Jelly Bean 4.2

I will say on the Nexus 7 (stock, unrooted), I took the OTA, and I have experienced the December bug, and the poor battery life. Other than that, it's rock solid, no slowdowns, no reboots, lockscreen (widgets) work fine.

On the Galaxy Nexus, it's rooted, and running a custom ROM, but I haven't experienced anything but the December bug.

I'm sure Google will come up with a fix. It's not like we haven't heard of such issues happening after an OS upgrade (with a different mobile OS).

Running 4.2 on a Galaxy Nexus & Nexus 7 - the Nexus 7 I ran the OTA, on the GNex I did a full system image. Both are running fine and I have not experienced any bugs (other than the December bug, but that is easily remedied by updating your contacts online).

i have no issues with 4.2 on my galaxy nexus. feels same as with 4.1.2
only the lockscreen i find pointless and ugly, same for the new design/font of the clock... ugh

I haven't noticed any of those bugs on the Nexus 7, but then again I'm not using that People/Contacts app there, nor have I used bluetooth so far.

I'm not too fond of the lock screen widgets and the new separate notifications and settings drop downs, but other than that it seems to be running as fine as 4.1.

All those issues are not present in Nexus 4/10. Mostly present in older Nexi.

On my Nexus 7 I prefered 4.1. Not really liking 4.2

4.2 feels too different to be a x.1 release. I prefered 4.1, simplier than 4.2

Hmmm, I've seen two people complain about overheating and slow charging on Galaxy Note 2's. Not sure if they're on 4.2, but something to bear in mind.

I'm using the AOKP rom so they'll probably just straight up skip 4.2 and wait for 4.2.1 (if they don't just straight up fix those bug themselves anyway )

so yeah, hopefully i won't have to deal with those bugs as they sound rather annoying

How was 4.1 simpler than 4.2? Nothing has been made more difficult for me when I made the jump to 4.2.

Other than the screen flickering when switching between videos I'm not seeing any other bugs; even the "December" bug.

I get the feeling 4.2 was rushed to push the release of the new devices, which is disappointing. Hopefully Google will push fixes quickly.

I dont like that the screen options and the notification center are in two different panels now. I liked it when everything was in the same pragmatic place. I dont like the new lock screen. The first time I saw it I thought it was stuck on edit mode.

Just to say I have 4.2 and my nexus 7 went into the reboot cycle of death when the battery was drained completely.
It boots after a few seconds of plugging in power (via mains not usb) and when it gets to the slide to unlock the battery warning appears saying shutting down and then the display goes nuts and after 20 secs the cycle starts over again.
Will let you know if I get it resurrected.
