Judging by a photo posted on Facebook by the Windows Phone page earlier, it looks like there could possibly be a new WP8 device in the making... and the interesting thing is, there's no branding on the front.

Looks absolutely gorgeous though, possibly a Microsoft-own device?

You could be right, looks like it has a VaporMG back.

I doubt they'd call it Surface Phone, as Surface goes somewhat hand-in-hand with Windows RT, and uninformed customers would be pretty surprised they couldn't install the same apps on their Phone as they can on their Surface... Tbh, I'm just betting on "The Windows Phone", or something equally plain and simple like "Microsoft Phone". That's assuming it's a real device and not just a mockup for advertising purposes.

Still, given the reaction most people have had to this device on Facebook, I think they'd be mad not to go with this design for a production model.

Uh...this is nothing new. They have been using generic unbranded phones in promotion and SDK from the beginning.

Edit: check this out, promotion video for 7.5 using generic unbranded device

or this from SDK

I like it, but would people only favour it over Nokia's 920 because it's Microsoft's own brand?
