I installed office 2013 preview yesterday, no issues. It worked fine. I am running windows 8 RTM

Today I read there was a 64-bit version of office, and wanted to run that instead of the 32-bit version.

I went to uninstall office 2013 preview and it keeps giving me an error: "We're sorry, something went wrong while we were trying to start your program. Please try starting your program again or use the repair option from programs and features item in your control panel if it still wont start."

The uninstaller gives me that error, and does every time I run it. Every office program gives me that error message, as well as the repair option and the x64 installer.

I have rebooted many times, and keep trying but face the same error every time.

Does anyone have any idea's that I could try?

I'm getting the same error, will have to try the manual method now.
