RedBull,
Thanks for writing me back. First, what version did you have installed when these problems occurred ? SecureAnywhere Mobile for Android is now updated to version 3.1.0.4547 and we continue to make improvements to its functionality and effectiveness. I am not sure what you mean by it being a "pain to use," as once you set it up it works automatically and you can either leave it at the default setting to automatically scan once a day, or you can configure a schedule so that it runs only when you are not using your phone.
It is optimized to not drain batteries and to not interfere with the overall usage of your device. However there are a few factors that can contribute to battery drain, such as the amount of files on your SD card, possible SD corruption, a lack of available system memory on your device or a possible threat. The easiest way for our Technical Support team to help you troubleshoot the issues you are having is for you to join the Webroot Community and post the issues you are having in the
Webroot Mobile for Android section. I am certain that they will be able to help you pinpoint the problem and get you back up and running.
Thanks,
Greg
