AT&T Screws G3 Users on JB Update

Recommended Posts

Well to all of the AT&T G3 users....

AT&T once again falls flat on it's face as Jelly Bean has been made available to EVERY carrier and AT&T is the ONLY one not pushing out the update!

http://www.samsung.com/us/support/SupportOwnersFAQPopup.do?faq_id=FAQ00050212&fm_seq=55187

Granted this does not effect me personally as I use the Note 2 which already has JB. But the other 3 devices in my house that use a G3 will once again get forgotten by AT&T until they decide to find a way to bloatware the living crap out of the update.

Way to show your customers you care!

What? XDA and KIES say otherwise.. and that it was released on the 3rd of December.

Look at the link from Samsung's website itself.

XDA are usually leaked or custom ROMs, my reference was to offically distributed ROMs from carriers and I connected one of my G3 devices to Kies and it told me no updates.

Lots of evidence point to the fact it is, indeed, out. It came out at the same time as everyone else. Sounds like user error to me.

Not user error...been in IT filed for 15 years....I know how to upgrade a phone. :)

Not too mention the link to Samsung's own website that says Coming Soon..... :)

Coming up on 3 weeks after the T-Mobile Galaxy SIII (S3) started receiving an OTA update to Jelly Bean, users in our forums are reporting seeing the update become available via Samsung Kies for their AT&T Galaxy S3s. There's no indication of when (or if) this will go out via an OTA package, but willing users that are impatient can always go with the Kies desktop software route.

Samsung just forgot to update their site.

    • draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 by Razvan Serea draw.io desktop is a downloadable security-first diagramming application that runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools. Search for shapes, including in open-source icon libraries. Use our vast libraries of shapes and templates, organised into logical categories, to create a range of diagrams and infographics. Generate diagrams from text descriptions using our smart templates. Diagram faster with keyboard shortcuts. draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 changelog: Uses electron 42.5.0 #2452 Updates to draw.io core 30.2.6.
