making phone calls using Google/nexus 7

I understand you can make calls using nexus 7 table. I can hear my voice mail using it. I cannot figure out how to make calls. Can someone offer suggestions?

yes in gmail you can make phone calls using gmail

Look up GrooveIP in Google Play store. The nexus 7 doesn't have a native phone app installed...

I'd assume most voip apps should work. Just choose which works for you and sign up for an account. You can't get carrier service on a Nexus 7 though.

audio calls yes, carrier phone calls no. No sim no calls. Try skype, Gtalk application for starters
