I have not read the days of Abraham Lincoln, in the history. Main thing that dragged me towards this movie was the fact that Daniel Day Lewis was the lead role.

The ever charismatic and dignified actor, one of the very best of all time, has never been better. Though, many would argue that his performance in 'There will be Blood' was nothing short of splendid, his very best, according to some, which without a shadow of a doubt was, the portrait of Lincoln in this movie also stands on the same footing, if not better.

I cannot comment on the historic accuracy, but for what its worth, this movie, definitely deserves to be watched by someone, anyone, for that matter, who wants to see a movie, any sort of movie, that is. Though Spielberg has done his job quite well, I am sure only praise he'll get will be in the scenes not having Daniel Day Lewis a part of them, because the guy absolutely steals the show and immerses the audience into its world on his very own

Agreed... There are moments in which you forget it's Daniel and think it's Abraham. 10/10!
