Way too many requests and the size of the JS and images is rather large

There are also missing resources like tooltips.js and widgetcorp.js

I'm finding on internal pages the logo back to the homepage seems to act different. Rather than the whole logo being a link only the animal portion on the left is.

On the drop down menu's it seems to be #666 text against a black background. Those aren't compliant colours. Try #888 or lighter for the list items.

Everything is custom code. First time I ever use WordPress. It's not fully WordPress yet, just the blog and still have to get some of the stuff working right.
