Hello guys,
I have dell inspiron 1750 with a intel pentium dual core 2.1Ghz with 4 Gbs of ram. My question is has anyone got osx running on it or can give me a point in the right direction.
If i have broken any rules let be know and i will change it.

What Rules?

http://www.osx86.net might be a good starter, but expect to have a nightmare with driver issues.

Another couple of good resources are the OSx86 Project wiki and the tonymacx86 blog. Your biggest hurdles are going to be chipset and processor support. In particular, make sure your processor supports at least SSE3. Technically you can run OS X on an SSE2 processor with a kernel that supports SSE3 emulation, but it will be slow and buggy.
