Not 100% true, If you do have a facebook account, all you need to do is like one thing and share one thing on your timeline, all which can be removed or hidden. I kept mine on my timeline but hidden. No need to tweet anything .

I don't see what the problem is. The apps are free because they want people to spread the word--which, in the end, generates revenue for the developers. You mean to tell me you guys are so stingy you can't be bothered to tweet or facebook about this and help the devs out?
