Anandtech and AppleInsider Down/Hacked?

Anandtech.com
Appleinsider.com

Both site would only rendered a dot in Firefox , and IE as well.

Anyone else ?

AI is only showing me the logo, nothing else - Chrome, Mac.

Both sites are loading fine on my end.

Chrome 26, Windows 7

That is exactly what is happening on my end.

Ok, after a bit of digging i found the culprit.

Both Site were trying to load an Advertise from http://www.lijit.com/.

And it could be the server is down.

Disabling JS ( Not loading any dynamic Ads ) would get pass it just fine.

This got me thinking, Why the heck would an Ad Server bring down the whole site. Shouldn't the site continue to load without the ads?

a site won't load so you assume they are hacked?
Thats a hell of a statement to stick on back page news with no back up
every heard of www.downforeveryone.com ?
