I will only use a wired pointer.

11 years ago I used a wireless pointer and I got cheesed off having to keep changing the batteries.

It became far too expensive.

SERIOUSLY? They're called RECHARGEABLE batteries. They're 2x the price of normal batteries and you get 500x the uses.

I got my Logitech G700 off Amazon.com for 40 bucks cheaper.. I love mine it's wired and wireless. you can use any micro USB cable on it as well.
I love my G700, wired/wireless works amazing. Only complaint is the awkwardly stiff USB cable it comes with.

I hate wireless mice. I purchased one recently after asking about them here and I hate it. I went back to this.

I love wireless mice, I like gaming too (but not too serious however). My logitech has over 1000 days left on battery, still the same ones I got it with. So thats a moot point nowadays. Keyboard batteries dont give me a rating in days but they are at 95% and I've had them in for ages.
Also wireless receivers are so much better nowadays, the new logitech unifying ones are great. Its works from downstairs in my house! I dont see the point in a wired mouse?
for what? a milisecond quicker? if that? who the hell would notice that?

Apparently you hate mice, period.

Guys, batteries are rechargeable. Hell, the better Logitech mice come with rechargeable batteries, so you can just charge them up or switch the batteries or do whatever you want.

I use the one that came with my phone. Otherwise it's awesome. I love how they use all standard stuff... standard AA battery and standard Micro USB

Cuz mouse makers think that wireless is more popular and 'cool'.

Truth is, a mouse is primitive and outdated.

LoL Hum. I see what you did there.

I like my mice on leashes. If you don't leash them, they tend to roam and pretty soon you have an entire nest! :woot:

I like the mice that are both. You can either plug them in or use them wirelessly.

My Razer Naga Epic works this way , but i never use it wirelessly because the drivers suck so much that it randomly stops working.

I think alot of people just prefer wireless.

For wired mice, the G500 is currently my top choice, although the mx518 may be tied. The G400 has the same shape and feel as the mx518, but it the G400 has a cheap skinny cord :(

For wireless the G700 is what I went with.

Because they're pointless. I have a Logitech rechargeable MX Revolution (current replacement is Performance Mouse MX) and I Just drop it in its cradle when I'm done with it. It'll go multiple weeks without recharges, but I just drop it in and never worry about battery levels. Cords are so annoying.

A lot of high end wireless Mice have a Micro-USB port on them so you can easily attach a cable.

There are good wireless mice that only need battery change every 2 years or so. Other than gaming why get wired?
