Scorbing
In the same way he instructs his followers never ever to use condoms  Exactly. "Yeah, don't use a condom. It's against God and religion. Keep on spreading disease, it doesn't matter. You will be saved by God and the Church." - What an idiot. Growled Member Posted February 12, 2013 Member Share Posted February 12, 2013 Maybe the Church is changing, a little anyway. It's been 600 years since a Pope resigned. I expected this one to die in office like all the rest.
HawkMan
and he's going to instruct a billion + people to do and vote the same. But that's his right to do it. he's wrong, but that's his church's opinion on the matter. and even IF the pope elected by the cardinals didn't agree with it, the cardinals are the ones with the power anyway. The pope and the catholic church still has free speech and are allowed to believe all the silly little things they do. of all the things they believe in, I'd say not liking gays is pretty insignificant, but that's irrelevant. it's their religion and they have the say in what it is. if you don't like and and still want to believe in fairies. chose a Christian religion that does allow gays and freedom of thought and all that. the second one may be hard to find, but there are Christian groups who allow, and marry gays so that shouldn't be an issue. The problem isn't what the churches believe in and what they say what can and can't be done, the problem is when this is used in conjunction with or as justification for laws and how governments are run.
