The zombie hackers are back.....

Montana TV Station's Emergency Alert System Hacked, Broadcasts Zombies Warning

KRTV in Montana announced that someone had hacked the Emergency Alert System and was broadcasting messages of zombies rising from the dead on their network and the CW.

But on a serious note... people shouldn't do this. The day will come when a real zombie attack occurs and everyone will think it's just another hack.

I remember one of the defcon talks or something like that from years back, and they described in detail how the hack could be done.

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/08/13/eas_hack_attack/ this is quite old and is related.

Still, my girlfriend is terrified of zombies and has told me number of times if it was ever real, she'd kill herself before being eaten alive. lol... Good job, it wasn't broadcast here :) It'd be like war of the world's all over again..
