I am a bear of very little brain and long words bother me, Winnie the Pooh once said. And this chap looks as if someone might just have said ‘onomatopoeia’ or ‘discombobulate’, as he scratches his head in puzzlement.
Either that or he’s lost his way after heading out to go fishing at the lake.
Russian photographer Igor Shpilenok, 52, captured the moment of reflection at the Kamchatka Bear Sanctuary in his country’s far east.
Braving freezing cold, far from civilisation, he found many of the animals he encountered had not developed a fear of humans.
It gave him the chance to capture some of the sanctuary’s more than 1,000 brown bears in unguarded and often surprising poses.
