Pictures were taken with the same camera, my money is on a crappy camera or something like a oily fingerprint left over on the lens. Notice how the blue lights all appear near bright lights.

Doesn't really look like a UFO to me.

Could be meteor, military craft, or alien. No telling from the pictures.

Same camera used in all the pictures and possible lens glare dealing with night time and water reflections. Did I read this correctly. This event took place in January 2012. I enhanced a couple of the photos

^ If it is flare from that particular camera it should be easy to reproduce.

And you'd think the owner would have noticed it before in other photos.

This UFO can be reduced by using a lens hood.

Looks like a pretty typical example of internal reflections.
