martymcfly
i just got a new lcd monitor. its a dell 1901fp. i have one question. for games that do not support 1280x1024 is it possible to play the game in 1280x960 or 1024x768 and leave black bars around the edges? normally it will just stretch the image to make it fit the entire screen which messes up the ratio. its only a few games i have and its not a huge deal, just wondered if there is a way to do this. sfalcon
Hm..it shouldn't be a noticeable change in the ratio...is it that big of a deal? Besides...what are you doing gaming on an LCD...puh...I need high refresh rates.. Should be in your Video Driver Settings. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/113846-lcd-monitor-question/#findComment-1339158 Share on other sites
nomis_nehc
is it possible xStainDx? Where would it be in the settings then? S_Falcon: it's time to get with the program, good LCD's nowadays have no problem handling games.
