minispy name change

This isn't really a bug, just a weird observation really.

When seeing the minispy and someone publishes an article, the name showed up as their forum name:

But when you reload the page, for a brief second their name changes to their full writer name:

then it quickly changes back to their forum name.. Is there a reasoning for this? Shouldn't it display their full name, not their forum name?

Seriously, that is strange. I have not seen that on my end. But I usually see about 4 or 5 same topics in minispy before it went back to 1 topic in it.

I think the articles are supposed to have the full name while forum posts the forum name, so your example is supposed to be mixed. even if it is confusing.

What I think is happening is the minispy is loading again after the page load and updating the results. Maybe the refresh code is different from the page load code (note the name difference and lack of tags).

Correct.

We use an IPB hook to initialize the spy. After that our own code is used to update it.
