I tried to post full you address, tried to use media tags tried to do everything, this is getting frustrating..... nothing seems to work. I didn't post any videos for a while but now nothing seems to work.

Works fine, are you using media tags correctly?

don't take the youtube address from the address bar as that is https and can also have other garbage that confuses the embeding

take the address from the share button under the video, that gives a clean http address

perhaps you doing it wrong, it suppose like this:

[wyoutube]1_q19Sy7wD0[/wyoutube]

just replace the 1_q19Sy7wD0 with another youtube video ID.

There used to be an option for long link that is not there anymore. Can someone just explain to me from a start better than go back and forwards 50 times

you don't need the long link, the shortened one embeds just fine

just copy the short link and paste it, you don't need tags on the side or anything as that's done automatically

Press the share button, and highlight and copy the url, noted in yellow...

yeah it worked for me, thank you. Actually I didn't need to add media tags even, just pasted a link into forums. I though short version didn't work.

Thank you.

Can build a custom computer, but can't figure out how to post youtube link :s

yeah, but in my experience they sometimes parsed as video embed, and at another time they are parsed as links, not quite sure why.
because of that I usualy use the wyoutube tag.

They are only parsed as links if you use the full http/https link:

https://www.youtube....d&v=1_q19Sy7wD0

Shorturl (no media tag):
