Forums don't play nice with IE10 and Chrome dev

Recommended Posts

This should go without saying about Chrome dev.. an alpha version of a browser is always going to have problems rendering certain parts of the site, which are usually resolved by the time it becomes Beta.

Additionally, the dev version almost always never works with CKEditor, a modified 3rd party solution for the IPB editor. If you use the dev version of Chroime and can switch to Beta, do so here: https://www.google.c...owser/beta.html

Also, IE10 doesn't work properly with IPB 3.2, at this very moment we are working on 3.4.5 and will upgrade when it's ready. The only solution there is to use another browser, or follow these steps:

Open IE10 > hit F12 and select the Browser mode menu and set to IE9.

This saves it for the session, when you close the browser you will have to follow the steps above, again.

These issues do not affect the main news site.

But but but, if we have to troubleshoot, and fix the problems ourselves, we wont be able to innundate staff with help requests for simple fixes anymore... :(

Not really, have you seen the size of the text on main (and forums, your screenshot)?
