I've setup Outlook on my computer (Win 8). The first thing I noticed was that all the icons for Office seem to be grouped under HP Printer Control. When I select an office application to use, Windows switches to classic mode.

I opened Outlook on my old computer to test the pst file. It started downloading messages, but I closed Outlook before it could download all of them. I wanted to make sure that when I complete the Outlook setup, that it isn't going to start automatically downloading new messages. If that were to happen, I would end up with a newer pst file on the computer, while the pst file that I would want to actually use is currently on a CD.
