Already did, using it right now.

Zero problems so far. I had an issue installing .NET framework 3.5 through Windows Update, but followed the instructions on the help page and solved the issue by using the ISO source.

I installed it. I used the key provided and tried to change it to my personal key and it says it doesn't work with the edition of windows

No, but not because it's a leaked version, though that's probably not the best idea either.

Installed on another HDD and activated using my WMC key, I'm not planning to use it as my main OS anytime soon.

And why is that?

And why is that?

I am going to try it in a VM and if it runs smoothly for a while, I may perform the upgrade on my main Windows 8 install. I am still debating it.

I already have. Upgrade from 8.0 went smoothly. Everything working perfectly.

I think I will wait for my desktop which is running ProWMC which I don't think I can use the current leak to upgrade.

I wouldn't, for the simple reasoning that in the off-chance MS decided to blacklist the live accounts using it early, I would be screwed.  I also use that account for work.

Why would they do that? I activated using a legit serial. They have no reason to blacklist anything.

Hence I said off-chance.  I am not taking the risk.  I'm also not telling others not to.  I am just not willing to.

I really don't see why they're forcing everyone to wait. 8.1 is working flawlessly on my X230 tablet.

At the end of the day 8.1 is still Windows 8, I can wait.

I would not use an unofficial version of Windows for reasons that it could have spyware or something in it!
