YouTube getting rid of quality options?

It could be your flash player? Is it outdated? or beta? 

 

I remember once I installed Flash beta and it seriously messed up all youtube videos...

 

re-install right flash player, clear cookies, temp etc and see.

YouTube is probably testing removing the quality settings in favor of determining resolution based on a running average.

I recently get latest Windows updates, so my flash is up to date - it didn't fix that.

I have recently started getting this as well, so its not just the OP who is having this problem.

 

Sometimes even hitting F5 doesn't resolve the problem.

Works fine, try Magic Actions! for YouTube (or similar a name) on Chrome to set video to 720p/1080p automatically.

Well um, I have nothing to add. It seems like a rare issue, I just hope I get those settings back. :laugh:

I think it is just a bug with youtube, they recently changed the player and have a long history of working bugs out.

 

by the way, is your browser set to standard or HTML5? you may just want to change the setting to one or the other and then back again
