Hello

I need a jquery plugin to do something like this

i dont know what would be the technical word to describe it.

 

i have looked into roundabout but it would be also great to check other alternatives

It's a Carousel / roundabout / waterwheel of some descripton.

I updated my post above to list some.

 

Alternartive, would be to examine the page with the one you mentioned as an example and see what js file is doing it, then go and find that one.

Seriously? JQuery themselves list a bunch of compatible ones on their website:

If I may make one suggestion...

 

These types of interface may look great, but as far as usability goes, they are horrendous.  Moreover, the "cool" look is very 5 years ago now...

Thank you, and respect to the usability argument, it's not always everyone's priority.  Regarding the look, well that's subjective.  To each their own...
