Cosmin
Hy. A friend of mine pleased be to help him with his mother's pc which seems to be more tricky that I thought : - It starts but there's no signal to monitor from GPU (integrated in motherboard).. - Tried to restart but the button won't work. - Tried to force shutting-down from button but won't work either (even it starts from the same button). - Even the dvd-writer won't open/react..even it's connected to mobo. I quess the mobo's dead but I need more opinions. It's only a "motherboard-pc" with all components integrated on it (GPU/sound card etc). Thanks for any ideeas. Mindovermaster Moderator Posted January 11, 2014 Moderator Share Posted January 11, 2014 PSU sounds bad. You try a different one?
Cosmin
It doesn't react wierd.. it simply works without any specific sound.
snaphat (Myles Landwehr) Member Posted January 11, 2014 Member Share Posted January 11, 2014 It's not posting. You have three things to try: (1) Re-seat external components (e.g. RAM), (2) CMOS reset, and (3) Testing an alternative PSU. If none of those things work, then most likely the board is bricked.
