Everything but everything these days uses USB to charge.  It's ubiquitous.

I have a cupboard that I want to turn into a charging area.  Part of that being USB charging like 8 devices at once.

I am looking for some sort of hub that does this - outputs a decent rated power per USB connector, and is solely focused on that.

Does such a device exist, or should I just use a bog standard USB hub?

yea you need to make sure that it has enough power to support using every USB port concurrently.

You really want this thing to be released: https://www.kickstar...smart-usb-charg

It actually delivers 2.1A for each USB port, even when everything is connected. Most USB chargers will drop down to 1A (or less) per USB port when you're using them all at the same time.
