John.D
Here the wireless password cant be remembered. Every time I reboot I have to type it in again, and I have to join a network. Control panel is blank / slow / doesnt show anything. This PC loads sometimes but can also be blank. Atm it's empty Win7 is fine, both PC's with Win7 on them have no probs at all

John.D
Something must have hiccupped here then. In the end I had to reformat. And reinstall Win8 and updates. It's fine now and everything is working properly
statm1
Might have been something malicious causing the problems and noticing them after you updated was just a coincidence.
