ALBANY ? Police say two people were drunk when they crashed into each other early Sunday morning.

The crash happened in the area of Second Avenue and Slingerland Street.

Officers say Laura Stefanik, 25, was making a three point turn in her SUV when she was hit by Ramel Alexander, 31, who was riding his motorcycle.

Alexander flew over Stefaink?s car and landed in the street.

Both were treated and released at Albany Medical Center.

They now face DWI and other related charges.

To bad it didnt take them out.  Idiots.

There's a reason why it rarely does. Drunk drivers are usually relaxed in accidents since their body isn't all tensed up. Sober drivers that get hit by drunk drivers will instinctively tense up just before the crash which makes their injuries far worse.

So what ends up happening is the drunk walks away with minor injuries while the sober person who didn't do anything wrong either ends up badly injured or dead.
