Man Gets Locked Up, Orders Pizzas From Cell

Recommended Posts

He was already suspected of shoplifting beer, but a southern Kentucky man now faces additional charges for a pizza prank.

While Michael Harp was in the process of getting booked at the police station, the 29-year-old placed an order for pizza on his cell phone.

Five boxes from Domino's were delivered to an Officer Wilson, who had arrested Harp. The accused says he was misunderstood. Police say they tracked the call to the phone.

"I'm not the guilty one on this," Harp told media.

Harp now faces additional identity/deception/impersonation charges. Under Kentucky law, pretending to be a police officer is a felony.

No word on what happened to the pizzas.
