He guys,

I just updated the new AMD catalyst software suite to revision number 14.9. But now I get this message when I boot my PC, or open and close CCC.

Specs:
Windows 7 64bit

AMD Radeon HD6900 series

I tried removing ATI folder in ProgramData and User AppData (I read this solution via google), but this does not work for me. Oh btw, when I install new graphic drivers I always do a clean installation. So first uninstall + leftovers, and only then install the new graphic drivers. I actually do this to prevent sh*t like this but yeah....

Anyone got a solution?

hey i recently bought a radeon 6950 and as part of the driver install catalyst control panel updated itself. it kept coming up with an error message when opening and also didn't have any over clocking or advanced options available.

turned out i needed to update my motherboard bios

Well it seemed to be a problem of the driver version 14.9. I reinstalled my pc with windows 8.1 and then installed the driver package 14.9 and I got the same error. I then removed everything again and installed with the latest beta which says in release notes to be solving some usuability issues:

That one works fine, so you know what do if your experiencing the same problems :punk:
