Mehraj Dalwai
Clean install or upgrade? If upgrade, do you have enough free disk space? I needed 24GB scratch space for my upgrade.
Circaflex
its one of your drivers causing the fail, do you have an external wifi adapter plugged in? umneycreep 1 Share
keysteele
I was trying to do an upgrade, and I have more then enough space...I guess your right @circaflex about it being one of my drivers, and the only thing I have plugged into my laptop is my mouse. I have to figure out which drivers is causing the failure...

Mehraj Dalwai
You could also consider a BIOS update, if one is available for your laptop.

keysteele
@Mehraj I have the latest BIOS for my Lenovo, I checked. And it is my main machine right now , but I don't mind messing with it. I tried installing with a clean boot and that failed too. Right now I'm not sure what is causing the failure....
Eric Veteran Posted October 10, 2014 Veteran Share Posted October 10, 2014 Does your PC have UEFI? If so, try turning off secure boot if it's on and see if it works then. Is that a Steel Series mouse you're using?
