Elliot B.
Tried to upgrade Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 9926 on my Linx 8 tablet but get: "Windows can't be installed because this PC uses a compressed operating system." There are currently zero Google results for this message. Any ideas? I presume that since the tablet only has 32 GB internal memory, Linx did something with the installation. However, I now have a 32 GB memory card for it. If I installed Windows 10 9926 fresh from an ISO (which of course will use more of the internal space than whatever this compressed OS used), will Windows automatically install some programs or files to the card? VBCtv
Some 16GB & 32GB tablets or pc's have compressed OS, not all of them. And make sure it's 32 bit or 64bit. I'm using the Asus Transformer T100 and it's 32 bits OS. The ISO says I need 8GB free space.
