Google Play Music, no more volume control in browser (Win 8.1)?

Is it just me or does the Google Play Music UI seem a bit out of place at the moment?

I've got the same issue either using Chrome 40 or Firefox 35, on Win 8.1.

On the other hand, on Mac 10.10 using Chrome 40, no issue.

 

Note that I do not use any addons/extensions on the Windows browsers.

 

This is how it's supposed to look (taken from my mac)

 

And this is how it looks on my Windows machine

It just looks like the bottom bar is being pushed to the right somehow.

On Windows machine, you can control volume from your system tray or you can control volume on your keyboard if you have volume buttons which my keyboard has.

Nevermind, it was due to my VPN client somehow.
Shut down the VPN client and all is fine now.
