Unobscured Vision
An already interesting place got even more interesting. That magnetic field changes a lot of variables about Ganymede. Wow. If there wasn't already a push for landers to the Jovian system, there needs to be.Even if we can't get to those subsurface oceans, we can at least take direct samples a few feet into the ice and get a good idea of what the composition of each is. Callisto is also likely to have a subsurface ocean as well, so sending probes to each of these three moons is a great idea.

T3X4S
Something I always thought was silly. When you look @ how diverse life is just here on earth. From the tiny, and seemingly indestructible water-bear, to a human, to a dog, to an sea anemone - why is it when we talk about intelligent life elsewhere in the universe, it almost always is a bipodal humanoid ? It could be a cloud, a ray of light, a talking, thinking plasma fart - anything and especially things we cant think of. I know the scientists say, "well this form is efficient for life when considering gravity, and certain elements in space, etc" - I always thought that was close-minded and ethnocentric in its purest sense. Just my 2 cents. BTW - the graphic looks like ID software, circa 1992.

Shiranui
Can you imagine ? Would be like 1000' tall waves ! Well the distance between Ganymede an Jupiter is about three times the distance between the Earth and the Moon, and Jupiter's gravity is about 2.5 times that of the Earth. Perhaps some physics major could calculate the gravitational pull on Ganymede. Remember, in Interstellar, the planet with the terrifyingly high waves was orbiting a black hole.
