sinetheo
The US government did it's own analysis after weighted market share statistics showed strange results. Chrome and IE are tops. IE 6 and IE 10 were the losers with IE 9 getting a boast from corporations. http://www.zdnet.com/article/the-most-u-s-popular-web-browsers/
abecedarian paradoxious
So browsing with Chrome is the most popular browser with people accessing US GOV sites? Conclusion: - people seeking to hack GOV sites think Chrome is more secure and least likely to be counter-hacked because of plug-in support; - most normal people accessing GOV sites use IE, including US GOV employees; - a lot of people access with OSX and iOS devices; - Firefox lacks 64 bit so not even Clint Eastwood would use it to steal anything from GOV; - others just don't amount to much. ... or maybe not. +E.Worm Jimmy 1 Share

Nagisan
To be fair the only reason I still use Firefox over Chrome is FF has much better tab management for lots of tabs (I have 5 different tab groups in FF, the main group having 20-30 tabs and the others having from 5 to 10 tabs each). If not for that I would likely be using Chrome instead.

+Warwagon MVC Posted March 28, 2015 MVC Share Posted March 28, 2015 Could it be because Google pays companies to bundle chrome with fracking everything, You download. Which then configures itself as your default browser. I am going to assume, a majority of the peopled who use chrome didn't actively go in search of it and download it. It just all of the sudden appeared on their system one day.
