On the flip side, they should also ban the new trend of overweight models then. Both are unhealthy and not a good image to portray to people.

Or you know, they could just let whoever get one with what ever.

^ Are women encouraged to become fat in order to model "plus size (a fun little euphemism for fat)" clothes?

Additionally, fat people clothing is actually practical clothing, that is, people actually wear it. A lot of the clothes modelled by those borderline emaciated models aren't.

I'll take "overweight" models over the anorexic 12yo boy looking models, especially since the "overweight" models are actually closer to reality and look like real normal women

Actually yeah. There was a program on BBC3 last year some time where overweight models admitted to over eating so they could stay on pay roll. Which in my opinion is as bad as starving yourself for the same reason.

As would i, i'm not a fan of the skeletal look either. Then i'm not a fan of the overweight look. Both are particularly unhealthy for the human body and prone to shortening life expectancy and the cause of many unsavoury medical conditions and diseases.

Neither should be encouraged.

Also, just because it's "normal" doesn't mean it's right.

"considered too thin"

and who is in charge of considering who's too thin?

Easy, if she looks like a preteen boy with no curves, likely too skinny, VERY FEW women or men look like that naturally

And i'd agree, but you know how stupid humanity can be when it finds a new trend, a new fashion to follow.

This whole thing has done a hypocritical backflip, first fat women were targeted and now skinny women are targeted. I swear that some modern feminists are going out of their way to try and make fat the new thin.

Now I don't favour bullying people by any means, but unhealthy lifestyles of any description should not be dressed up and presented as being something to strive for. I'm sick of seeing feminists go more and more towards dictating what expressions of female sexuality are and aren't acceptable.
