Looking to upgrade NIC

I'm looking to try to upgrade my Intel team from the sorry state it's in currently to something a bit more stable / supported on my home development Hyper-V host.

 

Host:

  • Server 2012 R2 Datacenter
  • 1x Intel CT PCI-e 1Gbit NIC (occupying x1 PCI-e lane)
  • 1x Intel GT PCI 1Gbit NIC
  • Intel ProSet 20.0.0.1

Currently (due to the CT having a supported driver and a bit of trickery) I have managed to enable them as a managed team, port trunked them to a TP-Link Smart switch with VLAN support. This is working much better than I excepted but I am having the occasional throughput issue which seems unsurprisingly related to the older Intel GT PCI card. Unfortunately I can't seem to get the Intel CT card to create multiple VLAN tagged adapters outside of being in a teamed state, so removing it is not an option without a replacement.

 

I've been looking so far for replacement cards on the cheap (ebay) and I'm not really wanting to spend more than
