jnelsoninjax Posted August 20, 2015 Share Posted August 20, 2015 ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FLa. -Altamonte Springs police arrested a woman who they say left her three children in the car to drink at the bar, then tried to drive home intoxicated.Elissa Carter-Lopez, 38, was charged with child neglect, driving under the influence and resisting an officer in the Saturday incident.Police said Carter-Lopez drove the children to the Cheers bar on S.R. 434 and made them wait in the car while she went inside to drink. Carter-Lopez began to drive them home and her children told police they were afraid for their safety, according to the report.
