You shouldn't be blocking ads on Neowin. I'm not knowingly. EDIT: Please see an updated image from today which proves I am not blocking ads and shows the problem. It's complaining it's over the maximum size when it's not. However, I am not seeing any gaps in the news feed in the area you're indicating on Firefox with no addons enabled.
