Nothing weird about it.  He took 7.6 G's. Until people have tried it themselves they shouldn't knock some guys reaction to it.

Especially "Initial Training" .... haha ... that was probably his first time.  Not many people have ever experienced those types of G's.  My eyeballs would probably fly out.

You see it with people in the back seat of fighter jets all the time, when people "Go for a ride" and they go straight and the passenger passes out.

It was painful to watch at first. The rate of acceleration was too fast. But a joke at the end made up for it.
