How often do you install Windows XP? PC Crashes, Viruses, or even fixing other peoples systems... most people install XP regularly, whether they want to or not. After awhile, you get sick of going to Windows Update and continuously downloading patch after patch, update after update. Well, we have just the thing.

AutoPatcher XP is a comprehensive collection of patches & registry tweaks that give you peace of mind in the knowledge that your Windows XP is up to date.

Start Panel Editor 1.1

Neowin.net News Screen Saver
Here is the Neowin.net News Screen Saver! This screensaver displays the main, software, and gamer news, as well as the latest forum posts. It has many available configuration options, including th ability to disable and enable display of individual sections of Neowin.net (main, software, games, forum).

Neowin NewsTray v1.0
This little program will display the latest news on your system tray, and it will check news on the Neowin. Incase it finds new content it will pop-up a windows 2000/xp style balloon notifying you. You can select which type of content (news or forums) you want by right clicking on the tray icon and by clicking on the desired type and the pressing refresh to save your changes, so next time it starts up it will load your preferences.

Neowin Toolbar for IE
This is a IE toolbar I've developed for Neowin. I hope you will enjoy it. Is still beta so be carefully. When it will be final I will release the code too. If you have any suggestion or want to report bugs please post them here. The search option doesn't work at this point and the menu search will search with google (if you select a text in a page and then right click on it, a menu will appear with Search Neowin)

Neoshooter 2.4
This is a excellent member contributed tool that makes the process of taking screenshots a world easier. Residing in the taskbay, its simple functionality allows you take shots of your desktop (or specific programs) and save them in a variety of formats. Often updated, check the thread regularly for new features.

If someone puts together a nice list of apps and some descriptions, I'll get it updated.

What in the HELL happened to all the software? There's something wrong here. A thread with just 5 apps in it would NOT get over 11,000 views.

This thread is 6 years old.

Its most likely this thread recived that amount of views over the past 6 years, i'd imagine quite a few of the softwares have either changed or discontinued, too.
